History of Shri Jamnagar Visa Shrimali Soni Samaj
The roots of Kasaribagh, our community’s prestigious Wadi, trace back to 1956, when a generous plot measuring 16,262.4 Sq. Ft. was dedicated for the service and development of the Shri Jamnagar VISA Shrimali Soni Samaj. This sacred land, located outside the historic Kot area of Jamnagar, was gifted for the welfare, bonding, and collective growth of our society.
the construction of this place was carried out in nine phases with the generous cooperation of the local caste people and conscientious efforts of the workers as detailed below.
- Old large plot of wadi received from tenants – dt. 12-6-1979
- The old site of the wadi came into use for castes – dt. 19-2-1981
- Renovation of Ground Floor (First Phase) – A.D. 1981 to 1984
- Renovation of Ground Floor and First Floor Dining Area (Second Phase) – E.S. 1994 to 1995
- Renovation of second floor (3rd and 4th phase) – c. 2005-2006
